1. Camera Usage

Scanniq uses your device's camera exclusively for:

Scanning barcodes to identify products.
Capturing images of ingredient labels for AI analysis.

We do not record video or access your camera roll without permission.

2. Data Processing & Security

Images and text from labels are processed securely using OpenAI's API and Google Firebase. This data is used solely to provide you with analysis results.

3. Data Privacy

We do not sell your personal data. Your health profile (allergies, diets) is stored securely and is only used to personalize your scanning results.

4. Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can do this directly in the app under Settings > Legal > Delete Account, or by contacting support.

1. Subscription Terms

Scanniq PRO is an auto-renewing subscription service. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.

2. Limitation of Liability

We strive for accuracy, but product formulations change. Scanniq cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of third-party product data or AI analysis. Always verify the physical label on the product.
